I’ve always wanted to be an Entrepreneur. As far back as I can remember. But I took the traditional route, went to school, got a good job, got married and so on. Then one day, I decided that should all end and I should start a business. I had experience with manufacturing. I know how to make sure a product is top-notch quality. I have experience with getting financing and a little experience with sales.
My mother has always been an inspiration to me. She is of Asian descent and taught me in the ancient Asian wise mother ways. (heh) Seriously though I had a very strong Asian influence growing up even though I lived most of my life in the United States. I say most of my life because I actually came to Asia (Korea) as a college exchange student and met and married the love of my life. So now I have two wonderful Asian influences. Also, I live in Korea.
The Asian Slice was born from my mind to help all mothers ( and fathers) have quality kitchen products. We know that finding good quality is not always easy. We love to make sure that all our products go through rigorous quality tests to make sure they are the best.
I believe that quality has two main parts. The first is the manufacturing process itself. If you have bad raw materials, bad machining and assembly processing, bad engineering, then it doesn’t matter how much quality checks you do it will always be a bad product. So first thing is to make sure the manufacturing process and raw materials are good. Next is built in quality. This is having a quality check process that happens often during the manufacturing process. This makes sure that everyone is worried about quality.
